In “More Love, Less Loathing!”, The Dash It Out Show takes a hard look at the emotional climate of today’s world. From social media outrage to everyday misunderstandings, this episode explores how constant hostility is shaping the way people communicate — and what it would mean to choose empathy instead.

DashTor (Host):
Welcome back to The Dash It Out Show. Today’s episode is called “More Love, Less Loathing!” and it’s about something that feels increasingly rare — empathy.
We’re living in a time where outrage is louder than understanding, and disagreement quickly turns into division. Today, we’re talking about what it looks like to choose compassion over conflict.
Host:
It feels like everyone is angry. Social media, politics, daily interactions — everything is charged. And instead of listening, people are looking for reasons to attack.
Guest / Co-Host:
Yeah, and once loathing becomes the default, it’s hard to walk it back. People stop seeing each other as human and start seeing each other as opponents.
Host:
That’s the scary part. When disagreement turns into dehumanization, nobody wins. We lose the ability to communicate, and eventually, the ability to coexist.
Guest:
Love doesn’t mean agreement. It means respect. You can challenge ideas without tearing people down — but that takes emotional maturity.
Host:
And maturity isn’t rewarded online. Outrage goes viral. Calm conversation doesn’t. But that doesn’t mean calm conversation isn’t necessary.
Guest:
Choosing love is actually harder. It requires patience, boundaries, and sometimes walking away instead of escalating.
Host:
Exactly. More love doesn’t mean tolerating harm — it means refusing to let bitterness shape who you become.
Host (Closing):
So maybe the challenge isn’t fixing everyone else. Maybe it’s asking ourselves how much loathing we’re willing to carry — and whether it’s worth the cost.
This has been The Dash It Out Show. Until next time, choose love where you can, and protect your peace where you must.
